Over the past two years, the University has been engaged in an ambitious strategic planning process, and in February 2016 a strategic framework was issued that identified key priorities and goals for Princeton University.

The strategic framework affirmed the importance of graduate education as a critical part of Princeton's mission, and identified broad themes for the Graduate School over the coming years. More detail on priorities for graduate education at Princeton are contained in the report of the Task Force on the Future of the Graduate School. This report, a response from President Eisgruber and Provost Lee, and the strategic planning framework can all be found on the University's strategic planning website. I encourage you to visit this page and review these and other documents.

This year, I will continue my visits to various regions to connect with graduate alumni, provide an update on what is happening on campus, and listen to your thoughts on how to best sustain and enhance graduate education at Princeton.

I look forward to working with you.
