Travel between two of the most dynamic world capitals—both historically and in the modern era—and enjoy the smaller ports along the way.

Princeton Journeys invites you to join a summer voyage under sail along the coast of Turkey and through the Greek Isles to discover—or perhaps revisit—some of the most important sites of antiquity. Ruins and relics, temples and treasures are all to be encountered on this summer voyage from Istanbul to Athens aboard the incomparable Sea Cloud II. This superb vessel, christened in 2001, combines the seafaring elegance of a bygone era with the highest modern standards of luxury and provides a superb setting with just 47 cabins, world-class service and five-star dining.

The program begins in Istanbul, for a brief look at some of the city's finest mosaics. Then, aboard the elegant Sea Cloud II, sail across the Sea of Marmara and through the Dardanelles. Step ashore in the lively port of Kusadasi and drive to Ephesus, one of the best-preserved sites from antiquity. Continue to Bodrum to see an impressive array of antiquities recovered from ancient shipwrecks. Then sail into the spectacular bay of Santorini for a visit to the whitewashed cliff-top villages of this volcanic island. Explore the rich archaeological treasures at Delos and Mycenae before disembarking in Athens.

Please note: Princeton travelers will share this exclusive charter of Sea Cloud II with those from The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
