Journey Stories by Princeton Travelers

When we speak with past Princeton Journeys participants, they frequently tell us how surprised they were to discover how much they learned, how pleased they were to travel with Princetonians of all generations, and how an unexpected visit or meeting or sight along the way became their fondest memory of the trip. We are often struck by the idea that, while reaching a destination is certainly rewarding, the learning experiences and personal encounters along the way can be even more worthwhile.

This year we are celebrating Journeys as Inspiring as the Destinations.

The following are stories from Princeton alumni and family about their experiences on recent Princeton Journeys programs. These are not stories about visiting the dazzling destinations of Machu Picchu or the Taj Mahal—though Princetonians have visited these sites together during our programs—but rather they are tales about the landscape, the people, and the experience of the journey itself.

We would love to hear about your Princeton Journey experience.  Submit your own Journey Story.
