October 24 – November 7, 2009. Traveling with ease and comfort aboard private aircraft, explore the great civilizations and sacred sites that flourished—and continue to do so—in this stunning landscape.
Wing your way back through time to discover the mysteries and marvels of the great and ancient civilizations of the Near East, while traveling comfortably and efficiently aboard a very modern-age aircraft. Explore the ancient crossroads of history on one grand expedition—two weeks in Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey.
Explore the historical and contemporary treasures of these great centers of commerce and culture. The journey begins in Egypt, where the Great Pyramids stand testament to the history of human achievement. Journey to fabled Alexandria, explore the remote Berber outpost at Siwa Oasis, and wander amidst the riches of ancient Thebes. Revel in the majesty and mystery of the lost city of Petra, and explore Cappadocia, where rock-carved sanctuaries stand amidst a fairy landscape. Conclude in vibrant Istanbul, the juncture of Europe and Asia and a treasure trove of architectural wonders.
