The new TigerNet is here!

TigerNet Online Services has received an upgrade to enhance service offerings for the alumni community. Alumni still have free access to the online directory, discussion groups, Alumni Careers Network and e-mail forwarding services through the new TigerNet. A new interface and service provider offer more searchable information, better control over privacy settings and account management, enhanced security, and self-service features beyond what the old TigerNet could do. The more robust menu of online offerings includes:

• Space for your personal profile photo: put your face to your name for people as part of your Alumni Directory Profile.

• Searchable personal directory profiles: manage your own profile page in the online directory.

• Custom privacy settings and profile editing: decide what you want to display to the community on your personal profile.

• Enhanced security and a Single Login Protocol through TAS: one secure central login and University-based authentication for all password-protected University alumni services through TAS (TigerNet Authentication Services).

• Supplemental Alumni News & Notes: keep up with the news about your classmates between PAW editions—and let them know your news—online. A great resource for class secretaries!

• Resume Depot: upload your resume as part of your profile and increase the likelihood of appearing in keyword search results.

• More for Discussion Groups: a new interface, group calendar and archive dating back to 2003.

• A powerful new TigerNet global search engine: search the alumni directory, alumni news and notes, alumni resumes and Alumni Careers Network for topics and people.

• Self-service password setting: change your password or retrieve your TigerNet account NetID online anytime.

• TigerNet Tips and FAQs: learn more about what the new system can do. TigerNet Tips offers suggestions for maximizing your time online, and FAQs answer common questions from users. Submit your own feedback for TigerNet as well.
