Committee on Alumni Relations & Communications (ARC)
The Committee on Alumni Relations and Communications (ARC), a standing committee since 2001, seeks to increase awareness of the many services available to Princeton alumni through the Office of the Alumni Association, to encourage a larger and more diverse participation in the programs offered through the standing committees of the Alumni Association's Alumni Council Executive Committee, and to initiate new ways to communicate with Princeton's growing alumni population.
ARC created and remains the consulting arm for Tiger E-news, the electronic e-newsletter sent to all alumni with e-mail addresses on record; TAKE NOTE, the quarterly print insert in the PAW, featuring alumni profiles, an events calendar, and news of standing committee programs; and Welcome to the Rest of Your Life, the booklet describing the benefits of Princeton alumni life sent annually to all graduating Seniors. ARC serves as a clearinghouse for and encourages collaborative communications ventures among standing committees by making available grants for outreach. ARC also recognizes innovative communications projects of classes, regional associations, and affiliated groups through its $500 ACE Award
