Committee on Academic Programs for Alumni (CAPA)

The Committee on Academic Programs for Alumni (CAPA) works with the Alumni Association’s alumni education staff to build and maintain a lifelong learning relationship between the university and its alumni, parents, and friends. The committee reaches out to assess topics, program formats, and faculty members of interest to the alumni education audience. Moreover, CAPA plays a crucial role as ambassadors of alumni education, seeking to broaden awareness of and participation in alumni education programs. Key CAPA events include Alumni Education Open Houses at Alumni Day and during Reunions, and the annual selection of a recipient of the CAPA Award for Excellence in Alumni Education.
