ACE Award for Excellence in Communication

In 2002 the Alumni Council established this award, Award for Communications Excellence (ACE), to recognize and support effective communication by its alumni organizations with their membership. In addition, the committee seeks to recognize volunteer contribution and ingenuity.

2009 Award Recipient:

  • The Class of 1983
This year the ACE Award has been awarded to the Class of '83 for the “83 Nation" 25th Reunion graphic identity and its consistent use throughout the 25th Reunion communications, including the Class Book, costume package, mailings (direct and electronic), banners, registration button and Memorial Service program. The graphic identity successfully created a cohesive, easily recognizable, and unifying "visual vocabulary" and can serve as a model to future 25th Reunion classes as they plan a communications strategy.
