Committee on Regional Associations Award for Innovation

Guidelines

  • Definition
    The Committee on Regional Associations Award for Innovation was established in 1998. It is given in recognition of associations who have developed new and innovative programming. Award recipients have included groups that created particularly engaging alumni education programs, as well as organizations that developed effective new ways to use technology in alumni outreach.

  • Eligibility
    The award may be given to a Princeton regional association of any size that has recently developed a new or innovative aspect of its regional programming—an event or activity, communication tool, special outreach effort, etc.

  • Nominations
    Nominations for the award shall be submitted in writing and may come from any source. The deadline for receipt of nominations shall be December 15.

  • Selection
    The Committee on Regional Associations shall meet to review nominations. Final selection shall be made by a vote of the members of CORA.

  • Award Timing
    The award will be presented to the recipient at the annual Alumni Council Reunion Luncheon.

  • Type of Award
    The award shall consist of a citation. The name of the recipient will be engraved on a plaque displayed at Maclean House.
