In 2002, the Alumni Council established this award, Award for Communications Excellence (ACE), to recognize and support effective communication by its alumni organizations with their membership. In addition, the committee seeks to recognize volunteer contribution and ingenuity.

2015 Award Recipient: The Class of 1979

The Class of 1979 received the Award for Communications Excellence (ACE) for their highly successful 35th Reunion Publicity Campaign, featuring a slideshow, a giant photo display, and the enthusiastic letters and Facebook posts of long lost classmate "Witherspoon P. McCosh-Wilson XXXV." The class saw Reunion attendance increase by nearly 25% from its 30th Reunion and it set two records.


Nomination Form and Guidelines

The Alumni Relations & Communications Committee (ARC) presents up to three awards each year. The honorarium is intended to be invested further in the recipient's communications effort.
