2019 Award Recipient

The Alumni Council’s Committee on Academic Programs for Alumni is please to recognize Dean Menegas ’83 as the recipient of the 2019 Award for Excellence in Alumni Education.

Princeton Pre-Read, initiated by President Eisgruber in 2013, introduces incoming freshmen to Princeton's intellectual life. Alumni are encouraged to read and discuss the Pre-read selection with fellow alumni. Dean developed a pre-read program tailored to help regional associations and class officers hold Pre-Read events that reconnect alumni with Princeton’s vibrant intellectual culture and fosters intellectual discussions among alumni. This program was piloted in the Princeton Association of United Kingdom and now available to all alumni.
