APGA Regional Association Award

Awarded annually by the APGA Board of Governors to a Princeton Regional Association that deserves special recognition for increasing participation of Princeton graduate alumni in its regional activities and/or fostering the cause of a graduate education and the Graduate School at Princeton University.

Austin P. Leland Award

The Austin P. Leland Award is given annually in recognition of general excellence in regional alumni activities to associations and clubs with more than 300 members.

CORA Award for Innovation

The Committee on Regional Associations Award for Innovation is given in recognition of associations who have developed new and innovative programming. Award recipients have included groups that created particularly engaging alumni education programs, as well as organizations that developed effective new ways to use technology in alumni outreach.

  • 2014 - Princeton Alumni Association of Beijing: Awarded for its use of social media to reach local alumni and to raise the profile of Princeton University with potential students and their parents.
  • 2014 - Princeton Club of Chicago: Awarded for its unique Summer Internship Networking Luncheon held each winter break to connect current students to an alumni mentor prior to their summer internship in Chicago.
  • 2013 - Princeton Association of New York City: Awarded for its 40+ programming and robust alumnae engagement opportunities.
  • 2012 - Princeton Alumni Association of South Carolina, Hilton Head Chapter: Awarded for its efforts of personal communication and the creative use of limited resources to bring together every one of their members.
  • 2011 - Princeton Alumni Association of Fairfield County; Princeton Association of Central Connecticut; Princeton Alumni Association of Eastern Connecticut: Awarded for collaborating on planning, communications and the engagement of all alumni in the state of Connecticut.
  • 2010 - Princeton Club of Brazil: Awarded for planning and execution of the week-long celebration “Princeton in Brazil.”
  • 2009 - Princeton Club of Rochester: Awarded for initiating an internship program that brings Princeton students home to work during the summer.

John Maclean Award

The John Maclean Award is given annually in recognition of regional associations and clubs that made major reinvigoration efforts. Considered the Alumni Council’s “most improved” prize, it is named in honor of Princeton’s 10th president, who established the Alumni Association of Nassau Hall in 1826 and in whose house the Office of Alumni Affairs is now headquartered.
