The Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) seeks ways to use technology to create and enhance connections between alumni and the University. As a volunteer committee, TAC works with the Alumni Council staff to explore, identify and improve new applications of technology to best serve current and future needs of the alumni community.
Social Media Workshops
Held at Reunions and Alumni Day, Social Media 101 workshops are for social networking novices who want to see what it is all about, but don’t know where to begin. Alumni volunteers and current students provide one-on-one tutoring to alumni, showing them how to sign on and begin using sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
