Beginning next spring, Princeton’s online alumni community, TigerNet, will be new and improved, offering a contemporary design and improved functionality that enhance alumni-to alumni-communications.
The new TigerNet will be released to alumni using a phased approach: The community websites and their respective broadcast email system will be migrated to the new platform first, followed by the introduction of a new alumni directory, discussion forums and comprehensive email system.
After listening to alumni feedback, the new TigerNet community sites will include many of the most-requested features, such as event management, including payment capability; customizable pages; dues management; news pages; and a Media Center for sharing photos and videos. Both the news and events components will integrate with social media, allowing alumni to share updates directly to their social media channels. A new “live feed” feature will enable all community members to quickly share information and updates with each other.
Comprehensive training for the new TigerNet will be provided to the community administrators, ensuring a smooth transition.
Look for more information at each stage, which will be shared as the new TigerNet is developed.
