The new Black Theater Initiative will kick-off with a conversation between Tony Award-winning playwright Branden Jacobs-Jenkins ’06 and OBIE Award winning director abigail jean-baptiste ’18. 

The Black Theater Initiative engages students of all backgrounds with Black theater artists, practices and innovations that shape the American theater. The conversation is free and open to Princeton University students and visiting alumni for an informal discussion. It is supported through the David A. Gardner ’69 Magic Project funded by the Princeton Humanities Council.
