2022 Book Talk: “Career & Family: Women’s Century-Long Journey toward Equity” Claudia Goldin, Henry Lee Professor of Economics, Harvard University; and co-director of the NBER Gender in the Economy Study Group.

“Career & Family: Women’s Century-Long Journey toward Equity” received the Richard A. Lester Prize for Outstanding Book in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations. Professor Goldin is the only author to have been awarded the Lester Prize three times. The other books awarded were "Understanding the Gender Gap: An Economic History of American Women,” published in 1990, and, as a co-author with Laurence Katz, “The Race between Education and Technology” published in 2008. This event is co-sponsored by The Griswold Center for Economic Policy Studies and the Industrial Relations Section.
