About the Journey

Experience a paradise of pristine natural habitats on this safari through some of Southern Africa’s great wildlife sanctuaries. Begin in Johannesburg’s renowned Soweto District with visits to Nelson Mandela’s and Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s homes. In Zimbabwe, witness the spectacular Victoria Falls, search for the elusive black rhino, and enjoy a “Sundowner” Zambezi dinner cruise. Continue to Botswana’s Chobe National Park, where you’ll encounter one of Africa’s largest concentrations of wildlife on game drives and unique boat safaris. A highlight of the tour is the unparalleled game viewing in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park, where you’ll stay at the intimate, award-winning Mfuwe Lodge. For those wishing to continue the adventure, discover South Africa’s beautiful Cape Town with an optional four-day/three-night post-tour extension.
