About the Journey

Princeton Journeys is pleased to offer a special opportunity to experience Cuba, a place previously off-limits to American travelers. Discover aspects of contemporary Cuban life that few visitors get to see, and learn about this rapidly evolving nation through the lens of its warm and hospitable people.

Meet locals ready to share their stories over lively meals, and venture into artists’ homes for a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process. Enjoy a private rehearsal at a famous dance company and a festive evening of art and music at Havana’s Fábrica de Arte Cubano. Explore the countryside with visits to the western province of Pinar del Río, known for its lush tobacco plantations, and the spectacular caves and underground rivers of Viñales Valley.

With the increased demand for accommodations in Havana, Princeton Journeys is delighted that our group will have exclusive use of one of the most charming hotels on the island for the duration of the journey. As with all past Cuba programs, this tour is focused on people-to-people exchange.
