Annual Giving creates incredible opportunities

Each year, alumni, parents and friends from across the decades unite around Annual Giving to make transformative educational experiences possible for current and future generations of students. Annual Giving flows directly into the University’s operating budget; these critical, unrestricted funds provide Princeton’s margin of excellence, enabling the University to seize new opportunities when great ideas come along, respond to unexpected challenges and support its groundbreaking financial aid program.

Annual Giving supports the University’s commitment to ensure that talented students from all backgrounds can afford a Princeton education and graduate debt-free, with unrestricted resources that help the University:

  • Provide financial aid to more than 4,000 undergraduates. Under the University’s new financial aid model, most families with incomes up to $150,000 a year pay nothing toward Princeton’s cost of attendance, and many families living in the U.S. with incomes up to and even beyond $350,000 receive grant aid, including those at higher income levels with multiple children in college.
  • Ensure that more than 90% of recent Princeton seniors graduate debt-free.
  • Guarantee funding for its degree-seeking Ph.D. candidates for all years of regular program enrollment. This funding covers the full cost of tuition and fees as well as a stipend intended to support estimated living expenses.

Please enjoy this video that features several Princeton students who share a glimpse of their own incredible Princeton experiences and express their gratitude for these life-changing opportunities. Your generosity makes a long-lasting impact at Princeton and also creates a momentum that inspires others to participate.

The 2025-26 Annual Giving campaign closes on June 30.
