The Office of Advancement will launch the second iteration of a longitudinal alumni survey on May 12. The survey is focused on alumni engagement, perceptions of the University, and preferences regarding future engagement. It follows the inaugural 2023 survey and reflects the University’s commitment to understanding the alumni experience.
Advancement is once again partnering with Huron Consulting Group in the survey’s design and administration. More than 11,000 alumni participated in the 2023 alumni engagement survey and the results led to enhanced alumni programming like TigerSide Chats, more opportunities for recent alumni to engage with the University and new ways to demonstrate the impact of Annual Giving.
The survey will be sent to all alumni who have an active email address with the University. The questions have been refined to make the response process simpler and faster. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is confidential and private, which means that collected information will only be accessible by Princeton and Huron staff for the purposes of conducting the survey. All reported findings will be in aggregated form, and no identifying information will be shared.
Alumni who complete the survey can choose to be included in a drawing for a Princeton University-themed gift basket (a $500 value). A winner will be chosen at random from eligible respondents and contacted by email after the survey closes. Participation is entirely voluntary, and no purchase or payment is needed to enter or win.
The survey will be open for four weeks and will close in early June; results will be shared with the alumni community in the fall.
