Screening of the documentary “We Were Here” (2024), the untold history of Black Africans in Renaissance Europe, directed by Fred Kuwornu. How did they come to Europe? How were they portrayed? Were they truly all servants and slaves? If the Black presence portrayed in Renaissance masterpieces could speak, what would they tell us? The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director.
