‘Morven to Milberg: Curatorial Insights Across Princeton’s Revolutionary Exhibitions’
A limited-capacity, dual-institution experience offering special access to ‘Nursery of Rebellion: Princeton and the American Revolution’ at Princeton University Library’s Milberg Gallery and ‘Five Independent Souls: The Signers from New Jersey’ at Morven Museum and Garden. Led by curatorial voices from both institutions, this guided tour illuminates the interweaving narratives of Revolutionary Princeton through objects, artwork, and scholarship, providing participants with a deeper understanding of the region’s pivotal role in the founding of the nation during this Semiquincentennial moment.
The public tour will begin at Morven at 1 p.m. Afterwards, the group will walk to the Ellen and Leonard Milberg Gallery (located in the lobby of Firestone Library) for a 2:30 p.m. tour.
Firestone Library: One Washington Rd.
Morven Museum and Garden: 55 Stockton St.
This tour is offered to members of the public and is limited to 20 participants. Pre-registration is required.
Members of Morven and Friends of Princeton University Library have a separate tour offering on June 15; visit the registration page here for more information.
