Dutch Waterways
About the Journey
Come celebrate the beauty of Holland in springtime, the best time of year to visit, when the vibrant, abundant Dutch tulip fields are in bloom.
It was water that enabled the Dutch to expand to far-flung territories in the 17th century, the region’s “Golden Age,” when culture flourished on a grand scale. Join your fellow Princetonians April 16-24, 2023, aboard the elegant Amadeus Cara on a seven-night cruise roundtrip from Amsterdam. Expert-led excursions include the storybook city of Bruges, the world-renowned Kröller-Müller Museum, the famous Keukenhof Gardens, the “Golden Age” trading town of Hoorn, ancient Nijmegen and charming Antwerp. As Europe sheds its winter gloom and the sensational spring flowering season is at its peak, surround yourself with intimate gardens and endless flower fields daubed with magnificently brilliant color. An Amsterdam pre-cruise and the Hague post-cruise options will be available.
Please note: Princeton Travelers will be joined by those from other likeminded institutions.
