The Afghanistan Policy Lab has assembled a panel featuring Dave Pitts, a former senior U.S. national security executive, to address the critical question of the way forward for the United States in relation to Afghanistan. Until his retirement in Oct 2023, Dave served as the assistant director of CIA for South and Central Asia. 

The discussion will be moderated by Ambassador Adela Raz, the director of the Afghanistan Policy Lab and a visiting fellow at the Hudson Institute, with Lutfullah Najafizada, a well-known Afghan journalist, as the second guest speaker.
