‘Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in U.S. Tapwater: Exposures and Associated Health Implications’
Drinking-water exposures to per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a national concern, but there is limited information on PFAS in residential tap water, especially in private wells. Emily Wild, Princeton University Library’s Chemistry, Geosciences and Environmental Studies librarian and chair-elect of the Princeton Section of the American Chemical Society, will provide an introduction to chemistry library research and welcome a presentation by Kelly Smalling, United States Geological Survey New Jersey Water Science Center’s research hydrologist, on “Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in U.S. Tapwater: Exposures and Associated Health Implications.”
Open to Princeton University ID Holders. Seating is limited for this event, and registration is required.
