Join us in person or online for a conversation with Mexican multimedia artist Teresa Margolles, the Art Museum’s 2022 Sarah Lee Elson, Class of 1984, International Artist-in-Residence, and Christina León, assistant professor of English. Margolles’s practice explores the relationship between marginality and violence, especially in relation to groups that are vulnerable to the devastating effects of social unrest, impoverishment, and urban blight resulting from government corruption.
