Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley ’80, recipient of the 2016 Woodrow Wilson Award, recently joined the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs as a Charles and Marie Robertson Visiting Professor and Visiting Lecturer. Along with serving as the senior military adviser to the president, the secretary of defense and National Security Council, Milley’s biggest legacy may be in reshaping how the United States fights.
