The Innovation Forum program presents an opportunity for faculty, researchers, postdocs, and graduate students to consider and showcase the impact of their research beyond the academy. Participants will receive coaching by mentors to help them consider the real-world impact of their research which could include commercialization, societal and or cultural potential. Participants will also showcase their research at the annual Innovation Forum competition and networking event during which they will provide a three-minute “elevator pitch” to a panel of judges, followed by a brief question and answer period. A demo station and networking reception will follow the formal pitches allowing for broader engagement with the innovation ecosystem audience.
