Orange & Black Day Eve

On Oct. 22, Princetonians worldwide will celebrate Orange & Black Day, honoring the signing of the University’s charter and its 276th birthday. Before the big day, on October 21, the campus community is invited to kick off the celebration by attending an on-campus, Orange & Black Day Eve celebration.

Festivities include:

  • A noon program on the University’s history near the steps of Nassau Hall
  • Tours of Maclean House given by alumni at 12:30 p.m.
  • An entertaining session about Princeton’s charter at Maclean House with Dan Linke, University archivist, and John Weeren, director of Princeton Writes at 12:45 p.m.
  • Refreshments beginning at 1 p.m. in the Maclean House Garden
  • Photo stations located around campus

Enjoy orange-and-black balloon displays and props (and cookies!) at Nassau Hall, Maclean House, near Blair Arch and Firestone Library and take your Orange & Black Day photos and videos!

On Orange & Black Day, October 22, post your photos to social media, tagging @PrincetonAlumni with #Princeton276 and #TigersRising, or on the Orange & Black Day kudoboard.
