An enthusiastic group of 1746 Society members gathered during Reunions 2022 to hear Jim Matteo, Princeton’s vice president for finance and treasurer, describe how planned gifts have supported Princeton.
Matteo discussed how membership in the 1746 Society is helping Princeton meet today’s challenges and the challenges of the future. His talk touched on bequests that have helped generations of Princeton students and the impact of gifts such as those made to the Annual Giving Legacy program have had in promoting Princeton’s world-class leadership.
Planned gifts are “indispensable” in bolstering the University’s financial aid budget, he said. Gifts toward professorships, programs and facilities further keep Princeton on the cutting-edge of higher education.
Hear Matteo outline ways that Princetonians have helped — and continue to help — with the University’s mission.
