Dedication of Ellen and Leonard Milberg Gallery

October 14, 2020

The Ellen and Leonard Milberg Gallery, named for Leonard L. Milberg '53 and his wife, was dedicated at Firestone Library on February 28. The ribbon-cutting event also previewed the gallery's inaugural exhibition: "Welcome Additions: Selected Acquisitions 2012-18," a retrospective of items from the Department of Rare Books and Special Collections, the Marquand Library of Art and Archaeology, and the East Asian Studies Library. The Ellen and Leonard Milberg Gallery will showcase world-renowned pieces from around the globe, with plans in 2020 for a celebratory exhibition on the works of 18th-century Italian graphic artist Giovanni Battista Piranesi and an exhibit on the topic of alchemy.
